Ann was a resident of Torrance for over 46 years and passed away peacefully on August 20th. She was born on February 9, 1930 to George and Rebecca Doramjian (who both immigrated from Armenia seeking peace and freedom in this country). Ann was the second of three sisters, the elder Mary and the younger Lillian. She graduated from Parker High School in Chicago and traveled by train for two days to join relatives in Pasadena, where she attended Pasadena City College for two years. She then attended UCLA for one year before she married in 1951. Ann was a homemaker while her children were young and later worked in sales and as a receptionist. She was a good cook and enjoyed cake decorating and sewing. A good role model for all, she cared for family and friends and enjoyed helping others. Ann was predeceased by her husband, Herbert. She is survived by her three sons, Alan, Gary and Stanley, and her sister, Lillian. Services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park at noon on August 30th.
