We are sad to announce the passing of Ann Marie (Toscano) Ford (age 89) on January 21, 2026. Ann passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

Born in Rochester, NY, March 7, 1936, Ann and her family moved to California in 1972. Ann will be remembered as a kind and loving woman, deeply cherished by all who knew her.

After retiring from the aerospace industry, Ann found her true calling in being a crossing guard for the Redondo Beach Police Department, where she made many friends and became a beloved presence to the children of Alta Vista Elementary School, who adored her.

Ann is predeceased by her husband Donald Ford, son Ken Ford, grandsons Douglas Ford and Kenny Ford, sisters Carmela “Dolly” Gersonia and Grace Toscano, brothers Ross Toscano, Carmen Toscano, and Angelo Toscano.

Her memory lives on through her daughters Pat (Andy) Peranelli and Kathleen (Steve Dupuy) Ford, sons Don (Laurie) Ford, and Brian (Martha) Ford. She is also survived by her grandchildren Maddy (Mike) Buennagel, Nathan Peranelli, Don (Amanda) Ford, Natalie Ford, Nick Ford, Christina Ford, Nicole (Alex) Portillo, her great grandchildren Kellan Buennagel, Joshua Buennagel, Russel Ford, Adalyn Ford-Dirickson, Christina Portillo, Alex Portillo, and Desmond Peranelli.

Additionally, Ann is remembered with love by her sister Josie (Zen) Guran, sisters-in-law Rose Toscano, Marina Toscano, and Jackie Toscano; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

All are invited to attend Ann’s graveside service at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Green Hills Cemetery (27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, 90275).
