With deep love and gentle sorrow, we celebrate the life of Angel A. Garcia, a husband, father, grandfather, friend, and relative, who peacefully entered eternal rest on October 6, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born on March 18, 1946, Angel lived a humble and joy-filled life. As the only [surviving] son with three sisters, he grew up well-loved and gently sheltered by his protective sisters—a bond that shaped his kind and tender nature. He carried that same gentleness throughout his life, meeting the world with patience, warmth, and a heart always ready to give.

Angel was a simple man with a big smile, a hearty laugh, and a calm spirit that could ease any worry. He rarely, if ever, got angry—his peaceful demeanor and humor made him a steady and comforting presence to everyone who knew him.

He wasn’t the greatest cook, as he would often admit with a grin, but every meal he made was seasoned with love. His grandchildren and friends will fondly remember the comfort of those meals, cooked with care and laughter. Though he preferred not to babysit, he was always the first to offer a ride—sometimes ending up delightfully lost along the way.

He began his professional career at Manila Bank in the Philippines before continuing his journey at the Federal Reserve Bank in the United States. A man of quiet diligence and integrity, Angel took pride in his work and the life he built through perseverance and faith.

Music was one of Angel’s greatest joys. As a member of several church choir groups, he shared his voice and spirit with countless others, finding friendship, faith, and purpose through song. Those who sang beside him will forever remember his enthusiasm, his harmony, and his radiant smile.

Known for his signature fashion sense, Angel could almost always be found wearing plaid and stripes—a cheerful reflection of his colorful personality. He didn’t measure life by wealth, but by love, laughter, and family. He took immense pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren, celebrating their every success as his own.

Angel also loved a good game of poker where laughter, teasing and friendship filled the air more than competition ever did. It brought him joy and connection.

Angel had no room in his heart for hatred—only kindness, compassion, and care. Perhaps it was this great heart that worked so tirelessly, giving love until it could give no more.

Angel is survived by his wife Connie; his son Carsten, his wife Prescy, and grandchildren Kirsten, CJ, and PJ; his daughter Swenja, her partner Simon, and grandchildren Vincent, Samara, and Amarisa. He also leaves behind many extended family members and lifelong friends who will continue to honor his memory through love and song.

He leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, humility, and warmth. Angel will be deeply missed by his family, near and far, and by all whose lives he touched with his genuine spirit.
