Allan Clark Billings, resident of Rolling Hills Estates, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026 at the age of 97. Born on June 24, 1929 in West Hollywood, California to Alonzo and Eleanor Billings. Al attended Narbonne High School, after graduation, he enlisted in the Army and served in the Korean war. Returning from service, he used his military benefits to attend UCLA and received a master’s degree in electrical engineering. Realizing his career should be working with his father, he joined the family business, A-1 Coast Rentals and A-1 Coast Sanitation, which he ran for over 45 years in the city of Lomita.

Al was passionate about sports and the outdoors. He followed Track & Field, Basketball, Football, Golf and even scouted talent in his younger years. A staunch UCLA fan, he wore several different styles of UCLA shirts, hats and had his favorite UCLA blanket.

Al is was pre deceased by his late wife Heidi J Ansell and Ryan Billings.  Survived by his son Steve Billings, daughters Allison Hamilton and Ashley Billings, grandchildren and many friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at The Mortuary at Green Hills in the chapel on September 23, 2026 at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
