Albert Rada, a man who had a passion for life and family, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, at the age of 66. He was born on October 1,1959.
Albert leaves behind a legacy defined by a heart of gold, humor and hands-on creativity. His professional life spanned two remarkable careers: a dedicated 18+ years at McDonald Douglas which became Boeing and a demanding 25 years as a Longshoreman.
Outside of work, Albert was a man who knew how to enjoy every moment. He had a deep love for the outdoors, from flying kites to camping. A true jack of all trades, with many hidden talents. Above all, Albert was known for his incredible, infectious personality, he was never serious and always ready with a joke, ensuring that laughter was a constant presence in the lives of those around him.
He is surpassed by his parents Evaristo Lopez Rada, Maria Angelita Rada, his brother Evaristo Rada and honorary Rada son, Robert Arteaga.
He is survived by his three devoted children, Vincent, Yolanda and Ariel, honorary Rada children, Jasmine and Raymond Arteaga, as well as his three cherished grandchildren, Larry, Angela and Brighton. Albert is also survived by his four sisters, Yolanda Kozak, Lourdes Sullenbarger, Angela Rada Anderson, and Rebecca Nuno, his three brothers, Urbano Rada, David Rada, and Mario Rada, as well as many nephews and nieces.
