Albert Gutierrez, age 75, passed away on October 14, 2026, surrounded by the love and care of his family.

Albert was born on January 26, 1951, to Piedad Gutierrez and Celsa Garcia Gutierrez. He grew up in Wilmington and later made his home in Torrance and Lomita. He attended Banning High School and worked as a machinist for 40 years before retiring in 2013. He enjoyed sailing, cycling, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Albert is survived by his daughter, Jamie Gutierrez; his son, Andrew Gutierrez; his brothers, Pete Gutierrez, Art Gutierrez, Roger Gutierrez, Jesse Gutierrez, and Javier Gutierrez; his sisters, Rosie Carroll, Jane Zachary, and Teresa Mercado; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Frank Gutierrez and Rick Gutierrez; and his sister, Bertha Gutierrez.

Albert will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his faith, kindness, willingness to help others, and devotion to his family. His loved ones find comfort knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
