Albert "Al" Chun, 89, passed away peacefully in Gardena, CA on January 17, 2024. He is survived by his children Michael, Darrin (Carolyn), Terri, and grandson Christian; siblings Annie Mow and Harvey of Hilo, HI; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Alice, and siblings Helen, Lawrence, and Lily of Honolulu, HI. He is also survived by his wife, Grace, and her daughters Carol (Chuck) Hu and Lux (Nathan) Higashida of Honolulu, HI.
Al will be remembered best for enjoying his retirement, spending time with friends, helping others, and participating in ukulele performances and various community activities around the South Bay.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 4, 2024, 9:00am at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27401 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Burial service immediately following.
