Agripina Revilla Chacon, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1936, in San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines, the youngest of nine siblings. She was the proud matriarch of the Revilla Clan, deeply loved and respected by all who knew her.
At the tender age of 12, Agripina lost her mother to tuberculosis and was lovingly raised by her father and older siblings. She attended St. Paul College in San Miguel and later earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Banking and Finance with a minor in Accounting, from Far Eastern University.
On August 4, 1960, she married Dr. Leonardo Chacon, and together they had four children. In 1968, they made the courageous decision to move their family to Los Angeles, California, where they built a wonderful life and raised their children.
Agripina had a deep love for travel, and she may well have seen the world. She especially cherished her Catholic pilgrimages to different countries and her many cruise adventures. A devoted Catholic throughout her life, she returned home to San Miguel each Holy Week to pray, reflect, and participate in the sacred processions commemorating the Passion of Christ.
She found the greatest joy in spending time with family, playing Bingo, enjoying long games of Mahjong, sharing delicious meals, and laughing late into the night. Her affectionate smile and gentle spirit brightened every room she entered. She was kind-hearted and generous, always ready to help others in need.
Agripina is predeceased by her husband, Dr. Leonardo Chacon, and her eldest son, Thomas (Tom). She is survived by her children: Jesse (Marissa) Chacon, Mary Ann (Shawn) Chacon-Thompson, Leonard (Linda) Chacon, and Cynthia Magno Chacon. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Kyle (Luisa), Anna (Chad), Andrea (Ryan), Alexandria, Mikaela, Joshua, and Peyton; and by her great-grandchildren: Kylie, Luka, Wesley, Jameson, Logan, and Nebula.
